| The new Thermo Connecting System A60 has been developed to connect enamelled wires and cables used in the electromechanical industry for the manufacturing of electric motors, transformers, coils and other. The machine combines a high speed cycle with reliability and repetitiveness of the connecting process. The process is based on the use of a clip, created by the machine itself, as a support for the connection. Such clip is obtained by a copper strip covered with tin, available in different sections. The support can be a simple clip to be used on intermedia/Macchine512_512te connections between wires and cable or it can present the cable lug typical protrusion, to be used as terminal connection. The connection process consists in the clip/cable lug crushing with application of pressure and heating, allowing to remove the enamel from the wires and compact the same into a single body with high mechanical and electrical features. At the end of the thermo connection process the excess part of wires and cables is cut by a special blade. All the Thermo Connecting System A60 functions are managed by the electronic board Castech “CST12-AA-00” with touch screen interface. The main movements are PLC managed and realized with step by step motors; the clamps closing is operated by a brushless motor and mechanical transmission with ball screw. The software allows to manage up to 249 programs with different power values, active and passive time, ramp time, number of repetitions, three different heating modes and sequence of programs. The Thermo Connecting System A60 integrates the normal thermo crimping machine features with those of the thermo connecting machine and, thanks to servo motors and particular attention to ergonomic design, allows very high flexibility together with easiness of use. |
